After the passing of Citrasena, Hastinapura has several King candidates, Pandu Dewanata, and his two brothers, the blind Destarata and Widura. Under Bhisma’s guidance, Pandu grows up possessing special archery powers. Using his powers, he manages to catch the hearts of three princesses all at once, Dewi Kunti, Dewi Madrim and Dewi Gandhari (Sengkuni’s older sister). What is Sengkuni’s real intention in challenging Pandu Dewanata to a fight of powers?  Why is it Destarata who ends up taking the throne with Dewi Gandhari as his wife?
