Jakarta - Falcon Pictures has officially released the legendary song "Smile Brings a Wound" written by the late Meggy Z as the original soundtrack (OST) for their latest film, "Kang Solah From Kang Mak x Nenek Gayung."
This latest version features a cast of big names including Rigen Rakelna, Tora Sudiro, Indro Warkop, Andre Taulany, Praz Teguh, and Indra Jegel as OST singers and stars in "Kang Solah From Kang Mak x Nenek Gayung."
The cast agrees that this legendary dangdut song fits the essence of the film, which blends comedy, romance, and drama. Rigen Rakelna believes there's a connection between the song and the story.
"In terms of genre and storyline, it's different, but in terms of genre, it seems similar, a comedy-drama, but from what we saw at the beginning, there was romance and sadness," said Rigen Rakelna when met in the Kemang area of South Jakarta last weekend.

Indro Warkop added that the film not only focuses on friendship but also touches on aspects of love.
The selection of a dangdut song as the OST is a step towards enlivening the dangdut music trend that is currently on the rise in Indonesia.
"Right now, dangdut songs are being revived. Actually, dangdut is really popular, so we wanted to say, 'Let's make dangdut,' like that. That's the reason Falcon is the reason," concluded Rigen Rakelna.
"Kang Solah From Kang Mak x Nenek Gayung" is scheduled to premiere on September 25th. With a combination of comedy, drama, romance, and touches of legendary dangdut music, this film is expected to provide complete entertainment for Indonesian audiences.
