Wizzy Likens Her Debut Album Release To Birthing A First Child
Jakarta – After focusing in the music industry, Wizzy finally released an album. Her relief was just like the birth of a first child.
That’s not too much of an exaggeration, according to Wizzy. Because she had been waiting for the album’s birth since three years ago.
“That’s not a short time, and the album has feels, because so much has passed in the making, through all the ups and downs,” she said during the press release to detikHOT.
From that, Wizzy chose ‘Colors’ as the title of her debut album under the Falcon Music label. According to her, currently her music illustrates her personality better.
“Now I am very happy because I like all the music on this album, it’s very me. That’s not saying it wasn’t me before this. I used to be known for ballads and soundtracks, now it’s like I’m going out of my comfort zone,” she said.
The album ‘Colors’ contains nine songs, most of which were composed by herself. She chose ‘Putih Abu’ as the single from the album.
“I chose ‘Putih Abu’ because it relates to most to the present. But if it’s about the hero song, all the songs on my album are all heroes,” she said.
