Suara.com - The film Rumah untuk Alie was honored to be watched directly by the Indonesian Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) Arifatul Choiri Fauzi.
Minister Arifatul Choiri also praised the film by Herwin Novianto. The film screening event Rumah untuk Alie was held at XXI Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta, recently.
The event was also attended by the film's cast, such as Anantya Kirana, Dito Darmawan, Faris Fadjar, Andryan Didi, Rafly Altama, and Alexandra Vallerie.
This touching film is not only a spectacle, but also a reflection on the wounds that are often hidden behind a child's smile.
Rumah Untuk Alie highlights the issue of bullying and emotional violence within the family, a theme that is very relevant to the real work of the PPPA Ministry.
In his remarks, Minister Arifatul Choiri expressed his appreciation for the film's courage in bringing up a story that is so sensitive but important.
"I hope there will be no more Alie-Alie, anytime, anywhere throughout Indonesia. Through this film, the city can reflect on whether our homes can provide comfort for children," he said.
"What Alie experienced in this film could be experienced by many children out there. Bullying, especially at home, can hurt deeply and leave long-lasting trauma. Let's make home a safe place, not a field of wounds," he added.
The film Rumah Untuk Alie is a reminder that the family should be the safest and most loving place for children.

However, in reality, there are still many children like Alie who have to bear the burden of unfair treatment, even from those closest to them.
The presence of the Minister of PPPA at this screening event shows the government's real commitment to supporting educational efforts through film media to increase public awareness.
Meanwhile, Anantya Kirana, representing the cast of the film Rumah Untuk Alie, admitted that she was happy that her film could be watched by the Minister of PPPA.
"I would like to thank Minister Arifatul Choiri Fauzi and her staff who have taken the time to watch the film Rumah Untuk Alie," he said.
The screening event ended with a short, warm discussion between the Minister, the cast, and invited guests.
Many of them expressed their emotion and concern after watching the film, which was directed with empathy and sincerity.
Rumah Untuk Alie is not just a film. It is the voice of children who have been silent. It is a prayer that no more Alie will feel alone.
Rumah untuk Alie is based on a popular novel of the same title by Lenn Liu, or Lotta as she is familiarly called.
This film not only presents a touching story, but also invites the public to care more about the issue of bullying that is still rampant.
Rumah Untuk Alie tells the story of Alie, the youngest of five siblings and the only girl in her family.
Alie should have received affection, but instead became the victim of her father and siblings' anger over the death of their mother.
Not only that, at school Alie also had to face bullying from her friends.
However, behind all the wounds she suffered, both physical and emotional, Alie still had hope to be accepted and loved by her family.
The film Rumah Untuk Alie stars Anantya Kirana as Alie, Rizky Hanggono, Tika Bravani, Dito Darmawan, Rafly Altama Putra, Andryan Didi, Faris Fadjar Munggaran, Sheila Kusnadi, and Ully Triani.
The film Rumah Untuk Alie will be shown simultaneously in all cinemas in Indonesia starting April 17, 2025.
