JAKARTA - The Association of Indonesian Film Companies (APFI) is ready to cooperate with all stakeholders to advance the Indonesian film industry. Therefore, APFI welcomes MNC Pictures and Temata Studio as the newest members.
So the number of APFI members is 12 production houses. Previously joined members were Starvision, Max Pictures, Falcon Pictures, Rapi Films, Soraya Intercine Films, Mizan Pictures, Mahaka Pictures, Hitmaker, Screenplay Bumilangit, and Visinema.
The chairman of APFI, Chand Parwez, is also happy about the joining of MNC Pictures and Temata Studio. He believes this step will strengthen the Indonesian film industry, which is starting to revive in the midst of a pandemic.
"Of course this will strengthen APFI's efforts and initiatives to jointly develop the film industry in Indonesia," said Chand Parwez, quoted from a statement received by MNC Portal Indonesia, Wednesday (23/6/2021).
Meanwhile, Titan Hermawan, as the Main Director is proud of the joining of MNC Pictures as a member of APFI. At this point, Titan hopes that its leading production house can work together to increase the enthusiasm of the national film industry through production quality.
"Our focus is to jointly improve the quality of national films both in terms of content and production," he said.
The same thing was conveyed by Tesadesrada Ryza as the Main Director of Temata Studio. He is honored by this collaboration and is ready to collaborate in producing a film that promotes representation of Indonesia's cultural diversity.
