MELANKOLIA NINNA

On the south corner of Jakarta, you’ll find it. The place is not as hot as other parts of Jakarta. The sky is everchanging, as if following the mood of the residents. You can find it easily. There are lots of houses there. And people call it Blue Valley.

From the gate, take the road to the right, and find the only house with a fence You won’t miss it. The owners are husband and wife. The husband is good at crafting wood into beautiful furniture, while the wife decorates the house in a soothing vintage ambience. Together, the two bring to life their dream room: a colorful baby’s room.

But, sorrow comes knocking. The wife loses her womb before conceiving their dream. Leaving a scar that manifests into a melancholy. Gamal and Ninna, staring into fading hope, as if life only has the color of grey.
